Edna is a reluctant personal assistant who copes with the death of her war-correspondent brother by sleeping with as many bad writers as she can find – and refusing to bathe. As her aroma starts to overwhelm her co-workers and lovers, the play raises the question: is clean living even possible in these dirty times of unrest?
